Spinally – Spanish neurotech company, developing intrathecal Spinal Cord Stimulation and Recording System is the recipient of a development grant provided by El Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) – Entidad Pública Empresarial (E.P.E), dependiente del Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.
Title of the project: Futura Lead – Desarrollo de un neuroestimulador medular intratecal para tratamiento de dolor crónico.
The main goal of this project is to support development of our intrathecal lead for spinal cord stimulation and recording. Specific tasks include development and prototyping of the implantable version of the electrode, performing pre-clinical trials (both non-GLP and GLP), and preparing Spinally to regulatory pathway, including ISO certification.

Our primary collaborator is Neo-Bionica, a company based in Melbourne, Australia, that specializes in the manufacturing of neurotechnology products. Neo-Bionica offers end-to-end expertise in Class III implanted devices, supported by state-of-the-art facilities that include ISO-7 cleanrooms and hermiticity testing. The company maintains strategic partnerships with a wide network of clinical and technical experts, enabling accelerated regulatory approvals and clinical trial pathways.
